This presentation will provide attendees with specific terminology, concepts, and statistical information surrounding race, inequity, and music education. With these ideas in mind, attendees will begin to evaluate their practices as facilitators of curricula identifying areas that can improve in their classroom, and resources to develop "fluid" music education. This presentation is relevant for the band, orchestra, choral, or general music educator.
